Aim:
To share educational and outreaching experiences of communicating marine mammal science to schools and to the general public. These experiences can be educational programs that support school curricula, pedagogical outreach materials such as books, videos, kits, activities and exhibitions. The workshop is open to researchers, educators, science teachers, and to the media.

Expected outcomes:
To foster the establishment of partner organizations which communicate marine mammal science. To link educational departments in a net of marine mammal European science centers in order to make available their information for a wider range of public interested in marine mammals species and ocean conservation issues.  To seed the creation of a local Sado bottlenose dolphins science center.
